The Kenyans has fly there flag high as the were able to dominate in the Bank of America marathon that took place in Chicago in the US.Elind Kipchoge and Rita Jeptoo both from Kenya have won the male and female categories respectively.
Eliud Kipchoge won the Chicago marathon male categories on Sunday leading to 1- 2-3.This marathon was his first ever major marathon victory finishing in two hours,four minutes,eleven seconds.
Rita Jeptoo from Kenyan Also won the female Chicago marathon categories.These is her second consecutive Chicago marathon women tittle.She was able to defect her rival with two hours, twenty four minutes and thirty six seconds,give in a four marathon triumphs in a row.This is the second time she will be winning in the same year.The first was Boston and the second is in Chicago.She will be given a check of $600.000 in New york for her wins both in Boston and Chicago.
In the men categories Sammy Kitwaa and Dickson Chumba claimed the second and third position with a time duration of of 2 hours, 4 minutes,28seconds and 2 hours, 4 minutes ,32 seconds respectively.While in the female categories Mara Dibaba and Florence Kiplagat won the second and third categories 2 hours,25 minutes 37 seconds and 2 hours 25 minutes,57 seconds respectively
