Nigeria Donate $3.5 million to fight Ebola in affected west African Contries




The present Health minister of Nigeria, professor Onyebuchi Chukwu in Abuja announce that the Nigeria government has donate $3.5 million to counter the world most fear virus claiming life's in the western part of the African continent.This money will be shared among the west African counties that is affected by the virus.

The health minister says that 591 health practitioner from Nigeria had volunteer to go to Liberia,Sierra Leone and Guinea to contribute their own quarter to the fighting of the virus.

He said that the decision we made in an executive council meeting which the president of Nigeria Good luck Jonathan was in attendance.In the council meeting his address note was

" I informed the United National General Assembly that the President has already directed the federal minister of health  to train and send personnel to these three countries in the area of special laboratory work to strengthen capacity in those countries"


"I also informed them that a part of Nigeria's  contribution to the international team that will set up to tackle Ebola virus disease in those countries,already Nigeria volunteer from difference health profession have been register with us,willing to join the international force that will go to Liberia,Sierra leon and  Guinea to help in fight the virus.

"As for now,591 Nigeria have already register with us in the three registries we have open in Lagos,Abuja and Port Harcourt".

Presently Nigeria have be recorded to have fight and contained the virus and will be declare Ebola free soon by the W.H.O.
