Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi sacked
Despite the victory against the Sudanese in te Abuja stadium in Abuja, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) sack the head coach and his other two assistance.
In am emergence meeting head after the match between Nigeria and Sudan in the Abuja stadium in which the Nigeria won 3-1.A decision was made in which brought to the sack of Kechi aand his assistance Amokachi and Ike Shorounmi.In a statement the NFF commend Keshi and his assistant for their achievement in the past three years.There were their words
"We praise their glorious accomplishment to the senior national team in the past three years and hail Stephen Keshi,Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorounmu as true national heroes.How ever in the interest of Nigeria football and the desire of the desire to ensure qualification for 2015 Africa cap of National final,the committee decided to relieve them of their duties with immediate effect''.
The formal coach of the Super eagle who was sack four years ago from leading the country senior team to the South Africa world cup in 2010 , Amodu Shuaibu was called back and reappointed as the Head of the Technical Advisal that will lead the team to pay the other two matches against South Africa and Congo.He will be in control of the team before a foreign coach for the team will be hire.Amodu wil be assisted with Salisa Yasuf who have be assistance coach previously and Gbenga Ogunbote of Sharks.
It was on record on Monday that the NFF President Amaju Pinnick saying that the NFF will not make any quick decision or rush into decision that will by fire.These were his words.
''We want our people to be patience and not stampede the federation to take knee jerk decision that will backfire in the end".
Presently Nigeria is in search of new foriegn coach that will replace Keshi which Amodu Shahibu take over as temporary coach,
