The U.S government is planing to take to take some step to fight the deadly ever recorded diseases in Liberia and west African at large.
On Tuesday the president of the U.S,Barack Obama announce some new measure that will be taken to tackle the out break,this include 3000 U.S troops to west African.
The troops will be sent to a new command center in Liberia capital.They will help in the transportation of supplies and personnel.The U.S government also promise to build Ebola treatment and control center that will help in the fight of the epidemic.This control center will train about 500 health care worker per week.The goal of this program is to build health personnel and infrastructure in western African.As in this regards, the United State Agency for international development will do some campaign to teach people how protect themselves and their family in Liberia and other west African nation.This training program will start from Liberia and later expand to other west Africa countries.
Over 4700 people have been affected in west Africa accounting to bot 2700 death in which Liberia have the highest rate.
This new program will cost the U.S about $175 million dollars.President Obama have promise to travel to the headquarter of the U.S center for disease control and prevention in Atlanta to meet with the health expert to discuss ways to control the disease.
The U.S Ambassador to the United Nation said the Ebola virus need urgent action to tackle it because just a case of it can cause worries to the whole state.The U.N security council will hold an urgent meeting on the crisis on Thursday.This will be the second health crisis issues discuss since 2000. The first issues was on Aids.
