A baby boy with eight limber have be successfully operated in Uganda


Mrs Margaret Awine  from a village in Uganda on 27th  may 2014 gave birth to a baby Paul who has eight limbs.The family rush to  a near by district hospital for help but they were quickly rush to a mulago hospital in Uganda capital were baby Paul was heck and examine.

Immediately the initial investigation, Paul was discharge .To stay until he is three month old.That will make him more mature to withstand the surgical operation.

Some team of experience medical personnel which were three surgeons,three anesthesiologist and two nurse successfully carry out operation on the baby,to remove the unwanted parasitic body.

Paul was given general anesthesia during the three hours operation.During the operation the, the doctor detached the lower limbs of the parasitic from the host.There were no intra-operation or post operation complication and no loss of blood and a precaution blood transfusion was also given to him.

Three weeks after the operation the baby is doing just fine. Brest feeding is going well.The parent of paul are happy and are gratefully to the surgical crew.

Baby Paul case is not the first case.Recall in 2007 an Indian baby girl was operated with 8 limber.It was 30 surgeons who successfully completed that operation.
